Privacy notice: enquiries
How ID FIT handles your details when you ask about a programme. Last updated: November 2026.
Who we are
ID FIT, North Weald, Essex CM16 6AR, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Questions or requests: info@theidfit.co.uk or 07507 066 146. Our full privacy policy for members is at theidfit.co.uk/legal.html.
What we collect
- What you tell us in our enquiry form or a Facebook / Instagram form: your name, phone number, email address, and your answers to any questions (for example, your main goal).
- How you found us: which of our links or ads you came through (campaign and ad names), the page you landed on, and the date and time.
- Notes from our calls: for example, the best time to ring you, or that you'd like to book a taster session.
Please don't send us health details in the form. If something affects how you train, we'll talk about it in person.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To contact you about the programme you asked about: call, WhatsApp, text or email, and to book a taster session. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before you join, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.
- To see which of our adverts and links bring in enquiries, so we spend less on ones that don't work. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, and your consent where cookies or similar technology are involved (below).
We don't sell your details, and we won't add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measurement
- On our website, the Meta Pixel only loads if you tap "Allow" on our cookie banner. If you do, and you send an enquiry, we also tell Meta that an enquiry happened (and later whether it led to you joining), so we can measure our ads. Your email and phone number are scrambled (hashed) before they are sent. If you tap "No thanks", nothing about you is sent to Meta. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie choices" at the bottom of our pages.
- If you used a Facebook or Instagram form, Meta already has your enquiry, because you sent it through them. We may tell Meta whether that enquiry turned into a booking or a membership, using the form's reference number, so we can measure the ad.
- Meta is responsible for how it uses data on its own platforms: see Meta's privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Who else handles your details
- Cloudflare, which hosts our website and the system that stores enquiries, and runs a security check on our forms (Turnstile) to stop automated spam.
- Telegram, which our team uses to be told about new enquiries. It receives only your first name, the first letter of your surname and which page you used, never your phone number, email or message.
- Meta, as described above.
- Our email provider, if we send you a confirmation email.
- Our web developer (TidyWeb), only to keep the system working.
Some of these companies may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on UK-approved safeguards such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
If you join ID FIT, your enquiry becomes part of your membership record (see our full privacy policy). If you don't, we delete your enquiry within 12 months of our last contact with you, or sooner if you ask.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, object to us using them, or ask us to stop contacting you, at any time. Email info@theidfit.co.uk and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.
Changes
We'll update this page if anything changes, and change the date at the top.
